Thomas C. York, Esq. - Principal
Tom concentrates his practice on commercial loan transactions on behalf of institutional and private lenders and borrowers, including secured and unsecured financing and restructuring, commercial construction lending, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of commercial and residential properties; and general corporate and commercial law matters. In addition, Tom handles various commercial litigation and intellectual property matters.
Tom also serves as a member of the board of directors and pro bono legal counsel to a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which promotes education in the areas of permaculture and sustainable/regenerative agriculture and food systems, green development, and contemplative practices, and which founded and operates a permaculture and yoga retreat center in the Hudson Valley of New York.
Tom was born in New York, New York, and grew up north of Chicago. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and is admitted to the bar of the state of New York.
Among many other hobbies and interest, Tom is an avid sailor, practitioner of yoga, gardener, and beekeeper.
